DEC. 28, 2017 — D2 Emerge LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Christina Cardoza to the position of News Editor on the company’s flagship magazine, SD Times, and its popular sdtimes.com website.
In her new role, Christina will be responsible for oversight of the daily news published to the website each day, as well as retaining her responsibilities as editor of the SD Times News on Monday weekly newsletter, and to report and publish her own articles to the magazine and website.
Christina began her career in technology journalism when she joined the staff of SD Times in October 2013 as online and social media editor, raising the website’s profile in terms of page views, unique visitors, and social media followers, as well as covering multiple news beats. “In the time Christina has been with us, she has taken on all assignments enthusiastically, has shown a thorough understanding of the subject matter, and has been able to write articles that clearly and succinctly explain the issues of the day to our readers,” said David Rubinstein, editor-in-chief and publishing director of SD Times and sdtimes.com. “We know that Christina will be a huge asset in helping D2 Emerge LLC achieve its editorial goals in 2018 and beyond, and we’re proud of her achievements.”
Christina is a graduate of the Stony Brook University School of Journalism.
